Designed for those with little experience and knowledge, the Model 170 allows the user to complete the hearing assessment / check automatically and reliably. Key functions such as automatic test commencement, ear selection and frequency selection are available at the touch of a button.

Ideal for smaller industries operating a hearing conservation or audiometric testing programme. Hearing levels, baseline audiogram and standard threshold shifts can easily be established and the audiometer can grow as the business grows with that can be processed easily and retained according to legal requirements.

The audiometer includes test frequencies and attenuation ranges required to perform a wide range of pure tone audiometry, such as standard threshold or sweep testing for school screening. Automatic test routines with pure and pulsed test tones enable large-scale screening programmes to be delivered effectively. Benefiting from a 125 - 8000Hz frequency range, an attenuation range of -10 to 100dBHL, manual pulse tone options and integrated talk forward function, this screening audiometer is essential for those hearing specialists and occupational health professionals who need to perform hearing tests quickly and under a high pressured working environment.

Data management
Results can be manually recorded, printed with the optional portable printer, saved in internal memory and or transferred to a PC application, thus giving a comprehensive range of data management choices. The audiometer also offers integration to a number of third-party Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. This enables the seamless transfer of results and data, for improved workflow efficiency.
