The Gordon Ellis Dignity Commode is a portable self-contained bidet commode toilet that will wash and dry the user without having to rely on a carer or family member. This allows the user to remain independent and enables them to toilet with dignity.

The commode is simple to operate using the detachable electronic control panel and can be used within minutes of it being delivered. Firstly a controlled spray of warm water, which is warmed to a comfortable temperature in the bidet unit, will clean the user followed by a surge of warm air to dry afterwards. The toilet seat is also pre-heated for comfort. The in-built water reservoir is easily removed from the side of the commode and is simply filled from the tap. The soiled waste is collected in the potty, which features a lock-on lid, for easy disposal.

The Dignity Commode is made from hygienic white plastic and plastic coated steel for easy cleaning. Any accidental spills or splashes are contained within the unit and will not spill on the floor. The bidet toilet can be unclipped from the main body so that the commode can be cleaned by hand or by autoclave, without any contact with electrical components. There is a gentle light under the toilet seat to enable it to be used in the dark, without disturbing others. The seat height is also adjustable.
