The optional filter accessory easily attaches to SideStream Plus to help capture exhaled and uninhaled aerosol, helping to protect others from breathing in unnecessary medication; this is particularly important when nebulizing antibiotics.
The vertical valve opens on inspiration to boost medication availability and closes on exhalation, preserving medication and reducing waste.
