Specially designed for optimum fitting on Scoop® and Spineboards Ferno’s classic Universal Head Immobiliser design leads the way in providing secure immobilisation, preventing further injury to a patient’s head and neck. This tried and tested product has now been enhanced so it can be used on all versions of Spineboard and Scoop or breakaway stretcher.

The Ferno CHI has a uniquely designed basepad  and strapping system providing optimum fitting in all cases, therefore making it the first choice for all medical professionals.

A further advantage of the Ferno CHI is the unique latex-free Polyurethane moulded head-blocks, which are impervious to liquids and  also contain anti-bacterial additives. Accidental surface damage will not affect the integrity of the product, which means enhanced durability and many years of effective use.
The new CHI remains structurally and functionally similar to the original design, which ensures there is little or no staff retraining required.
