The Bariatric model of S-CAPEPLUS evacuation mattress has the same functionality as the standard S-CAPEPLUS but larger in size, stronger in construction and with additional strapping to accommodate 4 operators for evacuating larger and heavier people.
S-CAPEPLUS is based around the same concept as S-CAPEPOD, but is a dedicated evacuation mattress with a 8cm thick base mattress incorporated within the device, allowing patients to be quickly and easily transferred downstairs laid down. Used in combination with Ferno’s range of evacuation chairs, it ensures that people of all sizes and conditions can be effectively evacuated in an emergency, seated or recumbent.
