Engineered with advanced LED-ring technology, this innovative otoscope delivers bright, uniform illumination of the ear canal and tympanic membrane without fibre optics, ensuring an unrestricted field of vision.
Producing approximately 10,000 lux with a natural 4,000 K colour temperature, the concentric 6-LED ring provides consistent, shadow-free light. Even in the unlikely event of a single LED failure, functionality remains unaffected. The LEDs offer an impressive lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours, powered by constant current drive for reliable, long-term performance.
Designed for clinical efficiency and user comfort, the Auris LED features a pivoting 3x magnifying glass with locking function, allowing enhanced visual clarity during examinations. An integrated insufflation port enables pneumatic testing, supporting accurate assessment of tympanic membrane mobility.
The durable two-component handle, constructed from aluminium and fibre-glass reinforced material, ensures strength while remaining lightweight and ergonomic. A convenient electronic ON/OFF push-button switch, dimmable illumination and automatic shut-off after three minutes help conserve battery life and enhance usability.
Powered by a 3.7 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery (included), the device comes complete with a USB recharger (EU/UK/US adapter) and 20 disposable ear funnels (10 x 2.5 mm and 10 x 4.0 mm), making it ready for immediate clinical use.
