High specification foam mattresses are more effective in reducing pressure ulcer incidences. Individuals assessed as being at high risk of developing pressure ulcers should be placed on a high specification foam surface.
The Permaflex HSF is manufactured using high specification foam and includes zonal castellation’s providing optimum patient support over bony prominences. The mattress cover is water resistant, multi-stretch and vapour permeable, with welded seams and a concealed zip.
