Torn or damaged upholstery sections represent a significant infection control risk. Therefore Medi-plinth offer a Couch Re-upholstery a full range of replacement upholstery sections for all our couches.
If your couch has been well used and the upholstery has been worn-down, it can become uncomfortable for patients to use. At this point it would be helpful to reupholster your couch.
All you need is the couch serial number and description of the damaged section. From this we can quote on the price to reupholster an individual section, or the full couch.
The upholstery used on Medi-Plinth couches has been developed over many years to eliminate issues such as folding and stitching whilst also ensuring minimal creasing. This has resulted in long lasting, smooth coverage and easy maintenance for infection control.
Each product is upholstered in durable, comfortable vinyl which inhibits MRSA (3352 Methicillin resistant to Staphylococcus Aurous), Bio-Pruf treated to resist the growth of mould, mildew and odour causing microbes. The vinyl is also fire retardant. The thickness of the upholstery is roughly 68mm of which 55mm is foam.
Our Re-upholstery service is available in 14 standard colours.
We are able to offer a variety of other colours and styles, but these will incur an additional charge.
