The dual measurement mode A&D Medical UM-211 Pro blood pressure monitor is specifically designed for professional clinical use. The dual measurement facility means it can be used in fully automatic oscillometric mode or manual auscultatory mode (with stethoscope), without having to change cuff or device. The manual mode is useful to qualify a fully automatic reading or on patients where an automatic reading is not suitable. In manual mode the cuff deflation speed is selectable.

The casing and cuffs of the UM Series are easy to clean with popular cleaning solutions. The range of professional cuffs are available in 5 sizes from super small 12-17cm to extra-large 41-50cm to accommodate a wide range of arm sizes. When the appropriate sized cuff is used the UM-211 is suitable for use on children aged 3 or upwards as well as adults.

With an ergonomic design, the UM-211 features an integral carry handle, cuff holder at the rear and a large easy to read LCD display with back light. Its compact in size but includes an internal rechargeable battery capable of 300 measurements (full charge). The lightweight design means it is easy to carry and suitable for GP, or Hospital outpatient clinic/ward use.
