Based on the same concept as S-CAPEPLUS Standard, S-CAPEPLUS Inflatable is designed to minimise the space required to store the evacuation device. With an inflatable base instead of a foam mattress, the S-CAPEPLUS Inflatable is compact in size, easy to carry and takes up little space when stored.

Principally designed for use in the Ambulance sector, but also applicable for use by all Emergency Services organisations for moving people out from difficult locations. S-CAPEPLUS Inflatable can also be used as a general evacuation device where a chair or stretcher cannot be used, complimentary to the range of evacuation equipment available to use, thereby covering all eventualities and situations.

The unique design of using flaps of material at each side and at the foot-end of the inflatable base, which fold over each other to create a sturdy ‘bag’ in which to envelop the occupant. Using a heavy-duty hook & loop fixation system to hold it all together, it is quick and easy to deploy, giving an extremely fast, safe and effective system of evacuation or movement of a patient or casualty in all scenarios.

Hand-hold straps at the head and foot-end allow the occupant to be easily and safely manoeuvred along the floor and down stairs. Made with a special high-strength material base, the S-CAPEPLUS Inflatable glides easily during evacuation, but giving sufficient grip to ensure a controlled descent when moving down a set of stairs or slope.

Combined with Ferno’s range of patient carry chairs, manual and powered track chairs, it ensures that people of all sizes and conditions can be effectively moved in any emergency situation, seated or recumbent.
