A freestanding IntelliCold® pharmacy refrigerator featuring a touchscreen controller and digital door lock.

This professional 440 litre pharmacy refrigerator is powered by Labcold’s IntelliCold® touchscreen controller. It has been designed specifically for the safe storage of cold-chain medicines, in accordance with the guidance provided in the Department of Health’s Green Book.

The factory-fitted digital lock removes the problem of lost or generic pharmacy refrigerator keys and gives you greater control over access. Only authorised users with the correct code can open the refrigerator, and the access code can be changed whenever required.

A 1.6 metre secondary wandering temperature probe can be positioned anywhere inside the refrigerator. The completely flat touchscreen controller is easy to clean and helps reduce areas where dirt and germs may collect.

The controller displays, records and provides alarms for the minimum and maximum temperatures measured by both temperature probes. Similar to a mobile phone touchscreen, it automatically locks after 30 seconds to prevent accidental operation.

The IntelliCold® controller records alarm events, refrigerator operation, door openings and temperature data from both probes at one-minute intervals. This information can be viewed and stored on a computer using a specially encoded Labcold microSD card, available separately.

Recorded data can support routine record keeping and regulatory inspections. It can also help establish the duration and severity of any temperature-related event.
