Stuart Undergrad Hotplate

The Stuart Undergrad Hotplate provides accurate, real-time surface temperature control for routine laboratory heating applications. Its compact, stackable design helps save bench and storage space, while the robust aluminium casing is designed for long-term laboratory use.

Microprocessor-controlled dual thermocouples provide accurate temperature control and protection from overheating. A coloured LED indicator surrounding the control knob displays the actual surface temperature, while a hot warning light remains illuminated whenever the plate temperature is above 50°C, even after the unit has been unplugged.

Available with either a coated aluminium plate for rapid heating and improved temperature uniformity or a chemically resistant glass ceramic plate. Both versions are compatible with the Stuart® SCT2 temperature controller for enhanced temperature control.
