The DermLite DL5 is a next-generation hybrid handheld dermatoscope engineered for advanced clinical skin examination. Delivering exceptional clarity and resolution for identifying subtle pigment, vascular and structural details in lesions. When conducting a quick skin screening, the DL5’s high-intensity torch LED delivers exceptional illumination, making it easy to examine broader areas as well as difficult-to-access spots.
The DL5 delivers significantly extended operating time on a single charge, powered by a battery with more than twice the capacity of the DL4 (previous model). Between examinations, place it on the included desktop charging base — which also conveniently stores your IceCap® supply. You can even charge a second DermLite or your phone via the front-facing 5V USB port, or use the supplied USB-C cable when you’re on the move. Wherever you are, the DL5’s four-level charge indicator keeps you informed of your battery status.
Effortlessly move through the full polarization range to optically examine a lesion’s visual depth. With Schuco PigmentBoost® technology, pigmented lesions are rendered with exceptional clarity, while DermLite’s cool color spectrum ensures vascular structures are equally vivid and distinct. At the same time, the DL5’s optics impress at every range — delivering breathtaking close-up detail and remarkable clarity from a distance.
